Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Sunday that he was looking at exporting more oil to China after the United States delayed a decision on a controversial pipeline.
President Barack Obama's administration last week put off a decision on Keystone XL project after a major protest campaign by environmentalists, who say the pipeline would be prone to accidents and worsen climate change.
The conservative Canadian leader, taking part in a summit in Hawaii hosted by Obama said the pipeline decision had produced "extremely negative reactions" and that he discussed oil exports with Chinese President Hu Jintao.

that's funny... just saw robert fife on ctv news talking about stephen harper's
meet & greet with president mcdreamy and it didn't sound so, well...
benign or reasonable.
according to fife... the prime minister was "threatening" to sell oil to china.
funny how, according to ctv... the pm is always smackin' people around.
where's the secret service when you really need them?

Gotta love it. The Empty Suit is setting it up so that China will be the next in line for Canadian Oil and the US will continue to support Islam. I think that Obummer likes it that way.

ctv had a video up earlier yesterday featuring Fife harping on about how we will not be part of the Trans Pacific Partnership negotiations.
Fife cited PMSH's unwillingness to put supply management on the table and how this runs counter to Conservative free trade policy.
Later in the day PMSH announced our intent to participate in TPP negotiations and lo and behold the previous Fife piece dissapeared down the memory hole only to be replaced by Fife's current narrative.
These pricks would be funny if they weren't so pathetic.

The empty suit is only concerned with the empty suit. Worst_President_Ever
Keystone is the devil indeed. What is Obama's opinion about the other two and a half million kilometers of pipelines already woven through the lower fifty states?
Oh right there is an election coming. Politics of the worst kind.
You know Anonymous, there are so many pipelines running through all over USA carrying oil, gas, all sorts chemicals and it is the pipeline from albeta to Texas they are worried about. What idiots.
The ndpq here don't mind since they themselves want to shut down the oilsands and put an end to all incoming tankards among other things and yet they bitch and complain that there are no jobs.
Right now americans need jobs and if Obama wanted to be re-elected again this will be it: by over riding the so-call environmentalists, movie stars for the sake of the americans in need of jobs.
These movie stars have jobs and live in wealth not to mention use more oil and gas for their mansions, limos, jets, and freguent flights and making movies etc, than most american ordinary joes.
In the meantime while USA debates on the pipelines, PMSH can't wait, he has people in need of work and sooner he does something the better. Mind you, the PM would rather work with USA since they are our neighbour.
PMSH should tell Obama that he has renegged..His earlier announcement was that Science would prevail but now he has overruled the EPA reccomendation.
We are far better off dealing ith China anyay. They ould deter the US from seizing the Oilsands.
China is the future; thanks to four decades of parasitism by the kind of gutter rats protesting the pipeline, America is the past. Let's think about our own country's future for a change and back the winners.
